The name of this service comes from the nature these approaches initially had: “originally, the cloud was thought as a bunch of combined services, technologies, and activities. What happened inside the cloud was not known to the users of

services. This is partially how the cloud got its name” (Rountree y Castrillo, 2014). Cloud computing is then a paradigm that states that computing services can be shared through a network.

Cloud computing has at least these four fundamental aspects:

– On-demand. This means that users can have access to services without the need of an expert or technician that gives access or manages the tools. So, “the request processes and fulfillment processes are all automated […] It makes getting the resources you need very quick and easy” (Rountree y Castrillo, 2014).

– Board Network Access. Cloud services must have a very easy access and have to work based on the possibility to enter information networks; these can be global, as Internet, or local, as LAN connections. These networks also assure the access to all kinds of devices.

– Resource Pooling. Network connections allow users to the same services simultaneously or at different times. From this, no service is wasted nor have to be multiplied in order to give access to all users.

– Rapid Elasticity. From the above, it can be understood that cloud services can be activated or deactivated very fast depending on the requirements from customers (Rountree y Castrillo, 2014).
